My second visit to Spain and Portugal
This is my second visit to Spain and Portugal after 1999. This time I chose to go to the Mallorca Island, because not many Asian will go there for a trip. I go to the Mallorca Island to visit the major tourist local-style buildings, such as churches, squares, castles, and museum. Although it was a winter, there were sunny, beautiful scenery, wonderful food and wine, we spent an enjoyable holiday here.
Mallorca Island
The Mallorca Island is one of the Baliyali Islands, which is a famous tourist spot and bird watching place. Island with the area of 3640 square km (75 km north-south, east and west 100 kilometers) is full of sandy beaches, steep cliffs, planted with olive and other natural scenery. Here more than 300 days a year of sunny weather, it is known as the "Mediterranean paradise".
Palma
Palma is the major cities and ports of Mallorca, and is also the capital of the Baliyali Islands. It has a long history. As early as the rule by Moorish, the city was already very crowded and famous. Important tourist point: Cathedral, Palau de l Almudaina, Castell de Bellver, and Miro Museum of Art.
